Who Am I
Hello, I’m Arran. Photographer, Petrolhead, and Storyteller.
Cars have fascinated me for as long as I can remember, the curves, the chaos, the way an engine’s growl can somehow make your heart beat faster. Over time, that childhood obsession turned into something deeper: a love for the stories behind the machines and the people who keep them alive.
Photography became the perfect way to merge those worlds. After more than eight years behind the camera shooting everything from portraits and travel to street life and documentary, I’ve learned that a great image isn’t just about what you see. It’s about what you feel. When I shoot cars, I’m not just chasing reflections and details; I’m chasing atmosphere, late-night meets, greasy garages, laughter, light leaks, and the kind of moments you can almost smell the petrol in.
Originally from England, I now call Bangkok home. A city buzzing with life, humidity, and a car scene as wild and diverse as the traffic itself. I live here with my wife, our daughter, and two dogs who think they’re turbocharged. This city fuels me (pun intended), offering endless roads, people, and stories waiting to be captured.
If you’ve got a car with a soul or an event that deserves to be remembered, I’d love to tell its story. Head over to the CONTACT page.
Let’s create something real, raw, and unforgettable together.
the Soul of Car Culture
As the world races toward electric perfection, something human is fading. The sound, the soul, the story behind every machine.
I photograph cars not just for how they look, but for what they mean, the smell of fuel, the vibration of gears, the connection between driver and machine. These cars are memories made of metal, emotion, and time.
Through my lens, I capture what technology can’t replace: the people, the passion, the imperfections that make car culture alive. Each frame freezes a fleeting moment. A reflection, a shared heartbeat, a memory.
Because long after the engines go quiet, these images will still tell our story, of motion, meaning, and the love of the drive.
I want to preserve the soul of car culture, one frame at a time.
