Chang Classic Revival 2023: Petrol Head Heaven

There are few events that manage to capture the soul of classic cars quite like Chang Classic Car Revival 2023. Held at Chang International Circuit, Buriram on 18-19 November, the event was two full days of raw passion, roaring engines, and timeless design.

Over 1,000 cars rolled in: classics, retros, supercars, rare gems, all in one place, all loving the same journey. From vintage silhouettes to modern masterpieces, the variety was insane. Every car had its own story, its own lines, its own character.

But it wasn’t just about the vehicles. It was the atmosphere. The parade of legends across the track. The Pit Walks and Grid Walks where you could get so close you could feel the metal and smell the exhaust. The Best Lap challenges, Drag Battles, Gymkhana, places where skill met style.

Buriram Circuit, usually known for high speed and competition, transformed for the weekend into a playground for enthusiasts. Old and new, loud and quiet, polished and patina, all under one roof. It felt like a family reunion for petrolheads.

And for me, as a photographer, it was everything I love about this scene. The light hitting chrome bumpers at sunrise, the shadows under arches of curved fenders, the smiles of people standing next to their pride and joy, the drama of motion when tires burn or engines rev.

Scroll through, these are moments I tried to freeze: car culture in its full glory, unfiltered and unapologetic. If you love cars, this one’s for you.
